Foristell yards and geography: Foristell straddles the St. Charles and Warren County line right along I-70, between Wright City to the west and Wentzville to the east. It’s a growing community — population has grown over 66% since 2000 — with a mix of rural acreage, newer subdivisions, and longtime family properties. Two school districts: Foristell’s school district boundary follows the county line. Indian Camp Creek Park — 603 acres: Indian Camp Creek Park is the largest park in St. Charles County, located right in Foristell. Named after the creek that runs through it — a natural swimming hole once used as a trading and travel route by Mississippian tribes — the park opened in 2006 on largely donated land. Features include 10+ miles of multi-use trails for hiking, biking, and equestrian use; a playground; fishing in the stock pond, Big Creek, and Indian Camp Creek; an 18-hole disc golf course; a historic silo observation tower; youth group camping open year-round; and a nature preserve. For park events, we’ll provide our COI and any documentation St. Charles County Parks needs.

Oglesby Park — 199 acres, opened 2022: Oglesby Park at 2801 West Meyer Road is one of St. Charles County’s newest and most historically significant parks. It’s named after Benjamin Oglesby, born enslaved in Virginia in 1825, brought to Missouri at age 12, who fled captivity in 1864 to enlist in the Union Army’s 56th U.S. Colored Infantry — and then, after the war, returned and in 1871 purchased the very 146 acres of Foristell land where the park now stands. The park features trails, a playground, a lake, and the relocated Douglass one-room schoolhouse (named after Frederick Douglass), where Oglesby’s descendants attended school until the late 1950s. We deliver to park events and provide COI for county-managed gatherings.

Towne Park: Towne Park, the 10th park in the St. Charles County Parks system (opened 2012), is named for the Towne family who donated the land. It features the restored 1828 Boyd Plantation house — built for the Boyd family from Kentucky and later occupied by the Towne family who ran a popular pink roadside antique store called “The Pink Plantation” — along with trails, a pond, a playground, and a certified nature classroom. We deliver to events here as well.
